King of Swim

With 22 medals (18 Gold), the most decorated Olympian of all time.
Not gonna even type his name cuz this guy needs no introduction!
What an astounding sports career!
Future Olympics will be a little less eventful without him.

It was so great seeing him make that three like in the first pic. Lochte was in the lane behind, and in other pictures you see him kind of glowering back there, and Phelps making that three with the "what me worry" look on his face: PRICELESS. Thanks

I too was thrilled over his records but am even more thrilled all the hype over him is coming to an end. When other swimmers were interviewed the reporters were more concerned with him than the ones they weere interviewing. They'd ask how it felt being on the USA team with Phelps more than they'd congratulate themselves on their accomplishments. I feel that they were all in the shadows instead of being in the limelight for their own medals they'd just won.

Yeah I agree, good performance but way over-hyped.

I too did feel rather sorry for the other swimmers during interviews. Commentator: "So, you just swam the faster leg of a relay in Olympic history, what does it feel like to be on the same team as Phelps?" I wanted to punch him.
