You called that "easy"? Sure there were some super easy ones, but there were more than one or two that took some learnin'...

every single question is meant to be solvable by logic. you may be unfamiliar with some of the subjects, but all the clues you need are there in the question.

LOL it was easy for me also. The answers were right in front of you if you just looked closely at the question.

Well 14 out of 15. Now I have a right to feel smug.

This quiz and the Guardian's cryptic crossword are great sources of smugness in this household.

Not entirely. Belgium was occupied by the Spanish for a few centuries and it only got most of the German part after WW1. So Spanish would not have been a bad guess.

In question 2 only King John and Robin Hood were English and Robin was the only one who possibly spoke it.

Q3 was the only you would find in a primary school or junior high school text book.

anonymous, thanks for pointing out my errors.

these questions are not meant to be 'true' trivia...so it doesn't matter what education level these questions are aimed at. they are all logical, as the clues are in the questions. so a bright enough child could figure it out...even if they were not exposed to the subject before.

In fact, most of my questions, it is better to not have any prior knowledge of these subject, which would require you to focus on the structure of the question, and arrive at your answer from there.

Yes, the clues are in fact in the question. I missed two of them by not reading all four questions. How stupid of me :-(

Lol, especially the flowers one... I just read the fourth one after finishing ^_^

Anyway great quiz. I actually thought it would be harder. My wrong answers goes to show I should probably slow down and pay attention to detail :-S

So I have a question: What is the meaning of this...

Query failed: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1

Until I can solve this, this quiz is useless to me.

In the question about the Magna Carta there is only one possible answer, 'anonymous'. It asks which MONARCH signed it and the only monarch listed was KING John....
